Abstract: This technology employs non-toxic, biodegradable chitosan-based polymeric nanoparticles incorporating S-nitrosothiols as nitric oxide donors for agricultural applications. Acting as NO-release systems, these nanocarriers improve plant growth and resilience under biotic and abiotic stress. The platform provides a sustainable, nanotechnology-enabled strategy to enhance crop performance through precise physiological modulation.

Aplication:

Nitric Oxide-Releasing Nanoparticles: Making Plants More Drought-Resilient

Status: Granted
